In a world of chaos and disorder, we have a secret, a secret that is a great and everlasting hope. It's not just peace of mind; it's not just knowledge; it's a relationship and an assurance - a calm assurance - that Jesus is in control, even when everything around us seems to be spiraling off the rails.

There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ, and we have a blessed hope through Him.
A Sin that Separates... is "Good News"?
A Goodness Test:
Sin is anything we do, say or think that displeases God, and
we have
all fallen short of His expectations. We have all sinned (Rom. 3:23). Look at one of the most basic lists of "good" behavior and ask "how do I measure up."
Let's see how you do on a "Goodness Test"
don't dishonor your parents
don't murder
don't commit adultery
don't steal
don't lie
don't covet
How ON EARTH is this "GOOD NEWS"?
On its own, it's not... but it lets us know about our God... a God that judges sin and will make all things right. We have a God of infinite, perfect justice.
Still not seeing the good news?
God will not allow ONE SIN to go unpunished. No crime against you, against anyone you love - no crime will slip under his radar.
Every sin will be judged.
Including yours.
And we're all sinners (Romans 3:23). We've all failed to measure up to God's perfect standard. We've all "fallen short."
Still not seeing the good news... I mean, the judging others thing sounds great, but I don't want every bad thing I've done to be punished!
But that's not the end of the story... this is where HOPE begins
We have a Great Savior!
