HOPE

In a world of chaos and disorder, we have a secret, a secret that is a great and everlasting hope. It's not just peace of mind; it's not just knowledge; it's a relationship and an assurance - a calm assurance - that Jesus is in control, even when everything around us seems to be spiraling off the rails.

Let us help. Let us show you that hope.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

How do I get that Peace?
Where can I find Hope?

I have some Good News!

We all have
Sin that Separates

How do you measure up to God's standard?

We all have the
God that Judges

If God gave you what you deserved, what would happen?

We must trust the
Savior that Delivers

Have you trusted Him alone as Savior or do you just know "of Him"?

Then, we can receive Hope that Sustains

There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ, and we have a blessed hope through Him.

A Sin that Separates... is "Good News"?

A Goodness Test:

Sin is anything we do, say or think that displeases God, and we have all fallen short of His expectations. We have all sinned (Rom. 3:23). Look at one of the most basic lists of "good" behavior and ask "how do I measure up."

Let's see how you do on a "Goodness Test"

don't dishonor your parents

don't murder

don't commit adultery

don't steal

don't lie

don't covet

How ON EARTH is this "GOOD NEWS"?

On its own, it's not... but it lets us know about our God... a God that judges sin and will make all things right. We have a God of infinite, perfect justice.

Still not seeing the good news?

God will not allow ONE SIN to go unpunished. No crime against you, against anyone you love - no crime will slip under his radar.

Every sin will be judged.

Including yours.

And we're all sinners (Romans 3:23). We've all failed to measure up to God's perfect standard. We've all "fallen short."

Still not seeing the good news... I mean, the judging others thing sounds great, but I don't want every bad thing I've done to be punished!

But that's not the end of the story... this is where HOPE begins

We have a Great Savior!

"All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way, but the Lord has laid ON HIM the [sin] of us all."

"And He is able to save TO THE UTTERMOST those who come to God through Him..."

"WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved..."

"REPENT, and BELIEVE the gospel."

1.

As with any crime, our sin requires a payment - a death penalty - our own or a substitute.

2.

No one could pay our debt because all were guilty of the same crimes.

3.

Jesus came to earth, lived a sinless life, and thus deserved no penalty.

4.

He offers this free gift to us if turn to Him (repent) and trust Him (believe) alone for our salvation.
